i have a new genie that does not work

I’m sorry to hear you’re having this issue, I would be happy to help. Can you please provide the model number of your garage door opener? The model number is usually located on the outside of your garage door opener in the ceiling of your garage or inside the light cover under the light bulb.

Do you see any led light on at the bottom of the powerhead in the celling?

no lights

Do you have power on the Wall control and safety Beams?

yes

Balogun A.

Okay. So what happens when you the wall control button?

`1nothing happesn like getting no

On the powerhead press and hold PRGM Set

button for 2-3secs for solid blue LED; then you will see flashing purple after releasing the button

i get no lights from any buttons

No blue light comes on when you press and hold the plus ,Minus or program set button?

no

for the cristmass holiday i bought 30 of these units and this in the last one  that will not work

But you have a red light on the wall control and green and red lights on the sensors?

yes

Okay. Would you be able to Unplug the unit, Take off the light covers then remove the screws on the side holding the motorcover down.

Remove the cover inspect the circuit board make sure nothing looks damaged in there. Then put the cover back on,

plug it up then try those buttons again.
